Reminder: the Operator Log
Every action processed on SPS leaves a trail and is viewable from the operator log. However, browsing the GUI is by itself not logged.
For an action to be traced, it must be attached to an identifiable user. Consequently, the actions that can be logged on the operator log are:
-
Every action performed on the web interface because they are linked to a single logged-in user;
-
Every action performed on web services can be traced back if the web service was used by a valid user;
-
Every action performed using files batch processing initiated by a user is logged because they are launched by a valid user. Batch processing initiated by a service is not tracked.
-
Every action performed on the organization (see the functional specification “Organization Audit Trail”)
