SPS allow organizations to define their own default language for Mandate creation.
- When creating a mandate via GUI, a value for Mandate Language is selected through a drop down, so there is no option to leave it blank.
- When creating a mandate via file upload, for Worldline files (CVS/XML), Mandate create web service and poor Pain008 file, if the mandate language is not specified it will be the default set in the corresponding option.
- For Domestic files, it is the language of the country of the file.

Mandate Language selection scenarios with the new feature
An organization could choose to not have a default language. In such a case, if SPS requires the default language for such an organization, the default language of its parent Organization will be considered. If the parent organization does not have a default language defined, then its parent should be considered and so on so forth. If a root organization does not have a default language, then English will be considered as default. By default, an Organization does not have a default language activated.
