The input help function for debtor client is available during the creation of a mandate. Its use is configurable and it is based on the third party client database, the management of which is described in Chapter 10.
Via GUI, when creating a mandate, simply fill in the Debtor identification code. The application then searches the third party client database: if a matching record is found, the third party’s data in the database is automatically entered in the mandate. If there is no matching record, the mandate is not automatically completed. NB: apart from adding a new debtor account, no update to the third party client database is made at the time of creating a new mandate or updating a mandate. This is in order to limit the addition of incorrect or duplicate records.
