Complete Deletion of a Mandate

Minimum Requirements for the Mandate Erase Operations

A Mandate can be erased if and only if it meets all the following requirements:

  1. The User should be assigned the Profile for Mandate Erase (only in the case of erase a mandate via the [ERASE] button on GUI).

  2. Mandate is in either ACTIVE or PENDING or WAITING REACHABILITY or WAITING VALIDATION or DELETED or OBSOLETE status.

  3. Mandate has NO SDD’s associated with it.

  4. Mandate has NO Payment Schedules associated with it.

  5. Mandate has NO Mandate Tokens associated with it. [A Mandate Token is created when a Debtor is notified to complete the Mandate.]

Once all the Criteria are met, the mandate can be permanently erased from the Database. All its audit line entries, associated notifications and attachments will be erased as well.

There is no impact on the integration report (file and report page on GUI), the creation of the erased mandates are still present in the report.

Action to Erase Mandate in Worldline Csv/Xml Files

The Worldline Specific Mandate Csv and Mandate Xml files can be used for 3 distinct mandate related processes.

  1. Mandate Create

  2. Mandate Update

  3. Mandate Action

The Mandate Action process can Activate, Suspend or Cancel a Mandate. A new option “ERASE” is added to this list, which will Erase the mandate (csv and xml file formats).

If the mandate provided in the file does not meet the criteria for erasing a mandate, the particular operation will be rejected with the appropriate error code.

There is no control on the role of the user via file transfer.

New Error Codes and Error Messages to be created

If a Mandate Erase operation fails via file integration due to one of the minimum requirements not being met, an error will be logged and reported in the integration report. The following Error Messages and Error Codes are created:
